In the upset of the night, Philadelphia defeated the Miami Heat. The Heat were without Wade, but the Sixers are supposed to be Wiggins out this season. Maybe the Heat has decided not to help anyone in their division get a shot at Wiggins. Philadelphia actually jumped out to a 9 – 0 lead, but who would have thought they could defeat the defending champs?
In the game that someone had to win, Toronto came up the loser in that they won the game and gave Boston a leg up on the Wiggins lottery. Toronto gave up a 16 point lead and tried to bait the Celtics into taking the game. Jeff Green and the team kept it close, but decided to return the win to sender. Chalk this Celtic loss up as a win. At least Boston has the Sox…
The Jazz put a scare into the Thunder, but Utah came up short as Gordon Hayward rims out a three pointer at the horn. Put one in the column for the 2014 draft for the Jazz.
Phoenix defeated Portland. Portland was supposed to have made drastic improvements while Phoenix has gutted its team for Wiggins. I guess the PR machine in Rip City is spinning the wrong way in an attempt to appease LaMarcus Aldridge.
Sacramento beat Denver in another topsy-turvy game. Sactown is not supposed to be in the hunt for the playoffs, and Denver should be headed in that direction.
Looks like the Lakers finally got the memo as Golden State decimated the team. Steve Nash did not play, but you can’t think that he has this much influence on a team, right?
Detroit defeated Washington, which places the Wizards right where they want to be, and Indiana helped New Orleans to get one step closer to their dream. The Houston Rockets took out the Charlotte Bobcats.
Games with teams that are not expected to be Wiggins out: Brooklyn lost to Cleveland. Milwaukie lost to New York. Dallas defeated Atlanta, and San Antonio beat Memphis.
